An adult ADHD assessment usually takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete as it covers several essential components including;
Physical examination (covering both historical and current factors)
Mental health examination (covering both historical and current factors) Family background and personal history
Social environment and how your symptoms impact your life.
Before beginning any medication we include any relevant diagnostics and tests including bloods that may be required to ensure you are suitable for the planned treatment. Furthermore, we engage in a conversation about potential treatment options, culminating in a collaborative effort between you and your Consultant to design a customised treatment plan that suits your individual needs.
